Spring doesn't mean much in Florida eh? Says who? It is the time of the year when there is alacrity in the heart and a skip in every step. Spring is nature's way of saying, "Let's party!" Yes, so let's party. Party with colors, party with soul stirring music and dance. It is that time of the year when we party at the "Festival of Colors". Color throws, mantra music and food. Clean fun guaranteed!

Indian Mela

Indian Mela

January 28, 2017, 2:00pm - January 28, 2017, 7:00pm

2651 Rouse Rd, Orlando, FL 32817-2905, United States

Hare Krishna yet again!
Do you long for the time when life would be one continuous celebration replete with an inexhaustible variety of exciting activities? Well, it's a natural desire because as pleasure seeking eternal souls we are part and parcel of the fountainhead of eternal bliss, Krishna. Lord Brahma describes the serendipity of life on Krishna's planet Goloka (the spiritual world) in his prayers -

"[In Goloka]...every word is a song, every gait is a dance, the flute is the favorite attendant [of Lord Krishna]....where numberless milk cows always emit transcendental oceans of milk."

We Hare Krishnas don't just live life but celebrate life in it's entirety in the service of the Lord and His devotees. Our rosters are pretty much filled with festivals and we add many more as and when we can.

So, mark your calendars for our next festival called the "Indian Mela" coming up next Saturday, 28th of January.
